About us

In June 2018 we traveled along the Costa Blanca, looking for a place to realize our second home dream. Once we arrived in Calp / Moraira / Benitachell / Cumbre del Sol we lost our hearts. The beautiful mountains, breathless cliffs, authentic Spanish fishing villages and the unique beaches made us decide to look for a place of our own under the Spanish sun. Absolutely no doubt that it has to be in Cumbre del Sol! So we became the proud new owners in August 2018 of an amazing apartment in Montecala. Our goal is simple, a place for couples, friends and families to enjoy all the beauty that this place has to offer. It is about 1 hour drive from Valencia and Alicante airport to Cumbre del Sol, which makes the flight path flexible. Both cities are perfect for a city trip during your holiday in our lovely place. We love nature, mountains, culture, water sports, good food and drinks, and in time enjoy relaxing on the beach or a nice outdoor pool. And of course, it will be a great pleasure in allowing others to enjoy this beautiful dream!

Overview Montecala

The apartments in Montecala, Cumbre del Sol, are new built modern appartments.

Casa del Cooper is a nice and complete apartment that is rented in its entirety to guests. This apartment is located at the top of a mountain with a phenomenal view.

Entrance and Parking

Parking is possible directly in front of the apartment.

The front door is reached by entering a small staircase, with small steps (there is no stairlift available).

The balcony gives the apartment an inviting atmosphere where you will be suprise by the amazing view over the valley and the nice sunset.

The balcony is complete with a loungeset and two seperate chairs and a table to enjoy the morning sun.

The living room gives you an attractive Spanish feeling. The living room is fully equipped with all the comforts you need.

Airconditioning is available in the apartment (both; hot and cold). And of course, fast free WiFi

Kitchen

In the kitchen is everything you need to make your vacation relax and easy, like a freezer, fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, coffeemaker, toaster, etc.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a good shower, washing table and there is also a washing machine in the apartment.

There are 2 bedrooms, 1 room with 2 single beds and 1 room with a double bed.

Bedroom 2

In both bedrooms are fans available for the warm summer nights.

Cumbre del Sol

Cumbre del Sol set on a high elevation and affords magnificent views to the coast and surrounding natural areas and mountain ranges. Cumbre del Sol is set apart from Benitachell, accessed via quite a steep road, so car hire is recommended.There are lots of amenities and facilities, so you don’t have to visit the town constantly to stock up on supplies. Includes a supermarket, bank, restaurant, pharmacy, hairdressers and even 3 swimmingpools on walk distance.

Beaches

Moraira offers a choice of beautiful beaches, including the main beach of L'Ampolla next to Moraira Castle where you can relax, play with the children or enjoy a range of activities and sports. Several of the beaches have blue flag status and are amongst the best in Europe.

Sightseeing

There are a lot beautifull places to visit around Moraira, include the picturesque town of Denia and Altea, the beachside towns of Javea, Moraira and Calpe, a city trip to Valencia or Alicante or make a short stop to visit Benidorm. For the more independently minded there are many miles of country roads to explore inland, dotted with little villages and historic towns.

Things to do

The area of Moraira offers a lot of various activities and gives a multitude of experiences like amazing mountain hikes, diving, watersport, typical Spanish market and the beautifull Algar waterfalls. Terra Mitica is a theme park located in Benidorm for a fantastic day out with the family. Aqualandia is a waterpark, also located in Benidorm and contains many water attractions.
